DOUBLE GOLD- 2016 SF Chronicle Competition
GOLD - 2016 Sonoma County Harvest Fair
Presenting our first release of the exceptional 2014 Debutante Rosé. This is a limited 270 case production Rosé of Pinot Noir from Sonoma County, California. This wine is an exceptional example of modern, fresh rosé. It is fruity, dry and very balanced. It is a mouthful of summer!
Séamus Wines' Sonoma Rosé of Pinot Noir is made from some of the best vineyards in Sonoma County - Gap's Crown, Buena Tierra and Sangiacomo.
60% was Presse, or pressing method, while 40% was produced in the Saignee, or bleeding, style, after a 22-hour soak. The juice was separated into 50% neutral French oak barrels and 50% stainless tanks, and then fermented.
Fresh picked cantaloupe, watermelon and strawberry dominate the palate. This wine is balanced, with a nice dry finish leaving your palate refreshed and anticipating the next sip.
Rosé is all about the color. This one is no exception. Our tempting Rosé matches the beautiful red-headed debutante on our label. The unique label illustration is of December Playboy Playmate and native southerner Elizabeth Ostrander.
